There are natural and drug-free ways to treat the pain associated with neuropathy and fibromyalgia. These conditions can be treated with the combination of adjustments and proper nutrition.

Neuropathy and fibromyalgia are both nervous system issues. Neuropathy means nerve disorder. The nerves that leave the spinal cord and go to every cell tissue and organ in the body isn’t working right. Fibromyalgia is fibrous muscle pains caused by improper functioning of the nervous system. The first thing to do when working on improving a nervous system issue is to look at the brain stem, the upper part of the neck, and see if the upper neck is out of alignment. This misalignment is what we call a subluxation, which creates tension pressure that can even choke the brain stem. If it is a subluxation, nothing will fix that problem until you move that bone back into alignment and take pressure off the brain stem. It’s absolutely crucial. To do this, you get a specific set of x-rays, adjust where needed, and then take x-rays after the adjustment to make sure the alignment was improved and that pressure was relieved.

After you’ve done that, you want to help the body heal with good nutrition. You want to eat fats. Inflammation is related to fats in most cases. If you’re having these chronic pain problems, you’re usually chronically inflamed. You want to make sure you’re getting good fats in your diet regularly like avocado, coconut oil, olive oil, grass fed butter, ghee, chia seeds, flax seeds, and any animal fats like krill oil or fish oil. However, the fats you want to avoid are foods like margarine, non-grass fed butter, corn oil, peanut oil, and soy oils.

A healthy digestive system is important in the healing process as well. A few things to improve digestion are eating probiotic foods, apple cider vinegar and foods with chlorella.  Probiotic foods like yogurt help get good bacteria into your gut regularly. Apple cider vinegar is very acidic and that acid will kill any bad bacteria. Keeping your stomach very acidic is important with good digestion. Chlorella-filled foods like large quantities of greens are good for soothing the digestive tract. The chlorophyll in these foods is an anti-inflammatory and is loaded with vitamins, minerals, and proteins.
