If you never start, you never make mistakes and you never get hurt, but you also never grow and you stay stuck exactly where you are at.
So, start today and build those quality habits! Go to the gym at the time you committed to. Even if you just walk on the treadmill for 15 minutes, GO!!!
Keep consistently showing up and taking action. You will do more and more, but first you have to start.
I recently started doing Jiu-Jitsu and I think martial arts is a great metaphor for life. To be a black belt, you first must be a white belt and just keep showing up and actively learning.
It’s not pretty and it’s not perfect and that’s ok. Just show up and start whatever you want to do. Provided it is safe… I would not just show up and start doing cage fighting. LOL
So, start today! If you can’t run because of bad knees, try swimming or biking. If you can’t afford a gym membership, hop on YouTube and follow someone on there.
